Shrewsbury Street Pastors
Get involved
Become a Street Pastor
As long as you are over 18, a regular attender at a church and can spare one Saturday Night a month to come out on a patrol, you can join our dedicated team of volunteers!
Keen and Committed?
Fill in an enquiry form and email it to us today!
Still not sure or want to find out more first?
Get in touch and we can meet for a chat. You will also attend a patrol as an “Observer” to see first hand what it’s all about with no pressure or obligation if you decide it’s not for you!
Become a Support Vehicle Buddy or Driver
Are you feeling committed to the work of a Street Pastor but don’t regularly attend a church?
We still want to hear from you! We have opportunities for roles as “Support Vehicle Buddy” and “Support Vehicle Driver”. These are people who join the team of Street Pastors on their patrol to support the team in their work.
Get in touch to chat about how this may work for you!
Become a Prayer Pastor
If you are unable to commit to joining the Street Pastors on the streets for any reason, but feel the calling and passion to be involved and support our life-saving, important mission, then being a Prayer Pastor could be for you!
Shrewsbury Street Pastors always have a Prayer Pastor team praying, whether it is a night time, evening or daytime. Prayer for individuals and situations found on the street are requested from the prayer pastors in real time.
Prayer Pastors can apply at any time. You are placed on a team, praying once a month and you get your rota well in advance so there are no surprises! You can also pray as and when you can for the continued work
of the Street Pastors.
Get in touch to chat more about how you can become
a Prayer Pastor!
Not sure how to help?
There are many ways to get involved with Street Pastors so we would always encourage you to get in touch for a coffee and a chat to see how you can help.
